Iddrisu Musah

Iddrisu Musah (Musah Superior), the New Patriotic Party (NPP) national general secretary candidate, has stated that incumbent national executives seeking re-election should not be given the opportunity.

According to asaaseradio.com, he feels that the current leadership, particularly General Secretary John Boadu, has proved that they are incapable of conducting the party's affairs and should be replaced by persons fit to lead the NPP.

He went on to warn that certain present leaders are constantly disregarding the NPP's rules by publicly promoting candidates in the forthcoming primaries, which is generating some friction within the party.

In my opinion, the current General Secretary, John Boadu, and all other officers should quit. In my perspective, they are not functional. There are, in my judgment, smarter and more informed persons who would serve the party more successfully in that role.

"We want strong, aggressive leadership to assist us in working more effectively and cohesively toward the party's objectives." The humanitarian values that inspired the formation of this political party" This political party was formed on humanitarian ideas. Political figures are now voicing their support for people. This is irresponsible and jeopardizes the party's structure and unity, he claims.

Six persons, including Musah Superior, have taken up application papers to run for the position of general secretary.

Other competitors include Charles Bissue, Ramseyer Ahmed Agyeman, Frederick Opare Ansah, Justin Kodua Frimpong, and others. -Prempeh

The six candidates took a test on June 20, 2022. The Accra Sports Stadium will hold the National Executive elections from July 15 to July 17, 2022.
