After 53 years, renowned American gospel musician Kirk Franklin discovered that the man he believed to be his biological father was not actually his father.
He recently identified his real father, despite his mother’s consistent denial of the truth, even after two DNA tests confirmed a 99.9% match.
The revelation came about during a burial, when the man mentioned that he briefly dated Kirk Franklin's mother back in the day.
Rick Hubert, the man who has been identified as Franklin’s biological father is set to have a reunion with his son at his family home which is conveniently located 10 minutes away from his mother’s house.
