Goalkeeper for the Ghanaian national team, Richard Ofori, is set to miss the World Cup after suffering an injury at his club Orlando Pirates.
Although he was injured, Richard Ofori was still one of the names on the yet to be released squad list for the Black Stars ahead of the World Cup. The injury comes at a time when his club side, Orlando Pirates were preparing to face rivals, Kaizer Chiefs in the South African cup tournament.
Richard Ofori's recent injury is a big blow for both Ghana and his club, Orlando Pirates. Ofori has been very impressive in goal for both club and country, and his absence will be felt deeply by both.
Otto Addo will announce the squad list for Ghana's World Cup campaign on Monday, 14th November. The Black Stars will begin their quest for the title against Portugal on November 24th.
