The rains have begun, and this time around, they are doing spectacularly. Natural calamities that took a large number of lives were rare in past years, but that has changed this year. Every time it rains, flooding occurs somewhere in the country, damaging lives and property. This enrages the locals anytime they claim that the clouds have changed to the point where rain can fall.
According to the Ghana Meteorological Agency, evidence of a mass impending storm reaching from the northern belt have been observed.
Again, the impending storm is likely to bring heavy rainfall between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. The damage would be noted in Yeji, Dambai, Tamale, Ketakrachi, Akatsi, Hoehoe, and Kpando, among other places.

The Ghana Meteorological Agency, via TV3 news, also advised the general people to avoid general outdoor activities such as Friday night fun and others due to the high risk of disruption due to showers and other negative repercussions.
